Doctor of Dental Medicine, PhD, Specialist in Orofacial Pain and Orthodontics. Acupuncturist and expert in NCM, Traditional Chinese and Korean Medicine, licensed in several national and international institutes, including the WFAS of Beijing and the Kyung Hee University of Seoul. Researcher and lecturer, she is author and co-author of several publications in international scientific journals. Teacher and active member of the Institute for Training in Acupuncture and Neuromodulation (IFAN) in Rome. In 2021, she worked at the Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm with a research project about molecular deepening of the mechanisms underlying acupuncture stimulus. Since 2013, she has been collaborating with the departments of Clinical Gnathology and Orthodontics at Sapienza University of Rome, with a special focus on clinical research concerning acupuncture and auricular neuromodulation for orofacial pain in adults and orthodontic pain in children.
