Associate Professor Jasmina Primožič, DDS,MSc, PhD received her dental and orthodontic education at the Medical Faculty/Department of Stomatology, University of Ljubljana. In 2003 she won the Student’s award for her research work. In 2010 she finished her master in Orthodontics and in 2011 received her PhD degree in Biomedicine. In the same year she was given the Houston Research Award form the European Orthodontic Society for the best research oral presentation in 2011. Her main fields of research are: studies on functional and morphological changes of the orofacial region, early and late orthodontic treatment in unilateral functional crossbite with mandibular shift, and Class III malocclusion, mainly using three.dimensional non-invasive methods. She is Associate Professor at the Department of Orthodontics at the University of Ljubljana and Head of the Department of orthodontics at the University Clinical Centre of Ljubljana, Slovenia.
