Kuijpers-Jagtman Anne Marie

Anne Marie Kuijpers-Jagtman works at the University Medical Center Groningen. She serves as Adjunct Professor at the University of Bern and Universitas Indonesia in Jakarta. From 1995 to 2014 she was Professor of Orthodontics and Head of the Cleft Palate Craniofacial Unit of Radboud University in Nijmegen. She is a Past-President of the European Orthodontic Society and of the Dutch Cleft Palate Craniofacial Association. She holds honorary membership of the Word Federation of Orthodontists and of 5 other orthodontic associations around the world. She received several prestigious awards including the 2020 Lifetime Achievement Award for Orthodontic Research of the AAO, the 2020 David Turpin Award for Evidence Based Research of the AJODO, the 2019 Louise Ada Jarabak Memorial Award of the AAO Foundation, and the 2018 Paul Goldhaber Award of Harvard University School of Dental Medicine. She has undertaken extensive translational and clinical research in the field of cleft lip and palate.
